We believe in the power of education as a change agent for our community. It is our hope that the children educated at our school will become future leaders and change agents for Gitombo village.
Our learners are from Gitombo village and a few from the surrounding villages. They walk to school every day which is great as they are able to exercise every morning. They get two meals at school, morning porridge and lunch. The meals are nutritious and this helps the children whose parents are not able to afford any other meal at home. The school provides text books for the learners
Staff members from PAAV-Gitombo Community School are from all over Kenya and are graduates of various universities and teachers training colleges. They passionate about their work and are mentors and role models to all our learners. They take bible study every Wednesday evening and teach Sunday school on Sunday afternoons.
Each staff member plays a crucial role in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
